Gopal Karemore (born December 24,1982 in Nagpur, India) received a B.E. degree (Electronics Engineering)from Pune University in 2005 and a M.S. degree in (Medical Software)from Manipal University in 2007 with a distinction. Currently he is persuing a Phd study on Breast Cancer Risk assesment using shape and texture measure in mammograms at University of Copenhagen and Sponsored by Nordic Bioscience A/S, Denmark under Prof. Mads Nielsen in collaboration with CCBR and Mayo Clinic. Gopal's research interests include Laser spectroscopy data analysis and Medical imaging using advance computational techniques. He is developing and applying these tools for the the early detection of breast,cervical and oral cancers.He is now owner of many Communities like HIV Vaccines,Breast Cancer Detection,Medical Software. He has also published sevaral National International Papers on Cancers. International Conference Proceedings are included in his CV. Gopal Believes that Technologies based on light have the potential to revolutionize early detection for cancer. Light is safe (non-ionizing radiation) and low cost compared to existing diagnostic modalities such as mammography and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).He has developed and used Fuzzy,ANN techniques to classify the spectroscopy and imaging.Additionally, He actively pursue the development of mathematical algorithms for feature extraction and classification of the spectroscopic signals. He has worked in various Organizations such as Philips Medical System, DRDO(Vehicle Research Developement Establishment), Imaging labs, GE Global Research, John F Welch Technology Center, Bangalore,India.He has also worked with prestigious research organization Bioinformatics Dept, Algorithm Design and Scientific Computing, The Fraunhofer Institute, Germany on Chemical Structure Reconstruction. Gopal is a recipient of various international scholarships from reputed universities viz. Spain, Canada, Germany and Denmark. Recently he has been elected as a member of Radiological Society of North America(RSNA),European Association of Cancer Research(EACR),Indian Association of Cancer Research (IACR).
